Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the therapy cost?
I charge £60 per consultation and session. Occasionally some concessions are available for those on low incomes.
Will therapy help me?
Therapy can change the relationship we have with ourselves and with others. It brings about greater understanding of our internal world and whilst it can be both a challenging and painful process, it can also be a liberating experience that frees us from unhelpful patterns of behaviour and thinking.
Do you subscribe to a professional code of ethics?
I adhere to the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy as set out by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Do you receive regular supervision?
I receive regular supervision, in line with the professional requirements of the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Where do sessions take place?
I have a consulting room in North West London, which is easily accessed by the underground and numerous bus routes.
What happens in the initial session?
The initial session provides the opportunity to explore why help is being sought and whether my practice is going to offer you the most appropriate treatment.
